three environments were built and two of them included in the prototype. Each virtual world consists of the basic polygonal structure, lights, and various invisible triggers and active points. These invisible elements define navigation points for computer controlled characters, trigger zones that will activate certain actions, camera positions and splines, as well as various interactive features such as levers, characters' starting points, and pick ups.
although the graphic capabilities of the original Playstation were limited the use of photographic textures was investigated and they were applied where possible.

in order to generate different moods and varying spatial structures for more flexible camera work different sized and colour coded locations were developed.

The camera work inside this wide main hall was much less controlled than in the narrow passages of the tunnel level. Here the camera control is left to the user.
